The mother of two also attended the event in style. Cardi opted for a pair of bright neon yellow heels and a tailored gray pantsuit for the occasion. She completed her look with a matching yellow studded purse for a little flair.

In another image, the mother and daughter duo enjoyed an assortment of different sweet treats together, presumably after the ceremony. Cardi also shared a picture of the pre-kindergarten graduate holding up a certificate for having “the best dance moves.”

It looks like talent definitely runs in the family.

“They need to know to never feel comfortable. Don’t ever feel like, ‘I’m going to get it because I’m Cardi and Offset’s kid,’ “she revealed. “They are never going to know what struggle feels like, so they might not have that hunger I had to leave the streets.”

In a video shared on the rapper’s Instagram Stories earlier that day, Cardi B slammed Brian Szasz for jamming out at a concert while his British billionaire stepfather was lost at sea.

The Bronx native MC said that if it were her family, she’d expect them to be painstakingly waiting to hear any word about her whereabouts if she were in such a dire scenario.

As MADAMENOIRE previously reported, Brian and Cardi ended up in a nasty online back and forth. The billionaire adjacent Blink-182 concertgoer called the rapper a “pos [piece of shit] trashy celeb.” The chart-topper clapped back and called Brian a “spoiled brat.” 

Not to be mistaken for a submarine, the missing makeshift submersible had five passengers in total who are presumed to be dead as of June 22. 

The same day Cardi shaded Candace, the rapper also warned her internet and legal foe, vlogger Tasha K. 

Cardi gathered the YouTuber after the latter implied that the rapper’s opinion of Brian was hypocritical. In Tasha K’s attempt to throw Cardi under the bus, the social media personality claimed that the MC made light of his death when Migos rapper Takeoff passed away. The latter musician shared the limelight of the Atlanta-repping hip-hop trio with his uncle, Quavo, and Cardi’s husband, Offset. 

The femcee mother of two blasted Tasha K and strongly advised the vlogger to keep Takeoff’s name out of any drama.

The moment occurred on Tuesday night in Hartford, Connecticut, at the XL Center. A little girl named Aria Cannon and her mom made a sign displaying a TikTok screenshot of Lizzo’s reaction to her dancing video with the text, “Hey, Lizzo. It’s me, Aria,” on it.

The sign caught Lizzo’s eye (thanks to the help of other concertgoers), and she invited the young fan on stage. Aria and her mom left their nosebleed seats to go to the floor.

In a handmade superhero costume, similar to the one Lizzo wore in the “Special” music video, Aria appeared on stage and hugged Lizzo. With the mic down, the “Truth Hurts” singer shared a special moment with the child that was inaudible to the audience.

Fans are calling out Nicki Minaj for an “insensitive” comment she made about the missing submersible travesty during a recent episode of Queen Radio. On June 20, the New York Native took to the airwaves and offered her thoughts about the group of billionaires that went missing on the OceanGate submersible that was en route to visit the Titanic wreckage in the North Atlantic.

Unfortunately, the rapper weighed in with a spicy hot take without reading up on the full story.

“No one should be hopping they ass on a submarine talking ’bout they going down to the Titanic,” the mother of one said during Tuesday’s episode of Queen Radio, according to Revolt TV. “I’m keeping all five passengers in my prayers and wishing all the best to search and rescue teams.”

Then the hip-hop star ruffled a few more feathers when she took to Twitter to clarify her remarks. Well, sort of.

“Praying they make it back to their families. This is so scary [and] should not be allowed,” the rap star’s tweet read. “Like wtf? I just assumed they were marine biologists… finding out this was a ‘tourist’ ‘Titanic’ thing? They said: TMZ tour bus make it Under The Sea.”

Nicki hasn’t spoken out more about the eyebrow-raising tweet.

According to NBC News, the five passengers aboard the OceanGate submersible reportedly paid $250,000 each to visit the historic Titanic shipwreck.

On June 18, the sub set sail containing wealthy British businessman Hamish Harding, OceanGate Expeditions CEO Stockton Rush, who was piloting the voyage, and British-Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood. The Pakistani entrepreneur’s 19-year-old son Suleman Dawood was also aboard along with French Titanic expert and retired diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet.

Crew members of the Canadian Polar Prince vessel were monitoring the sub for any strange activity. They grew concerned when the sub went missing after one hour and 45 minutes into the dive.

Now, investigations have been desperately searching for the sub, and they must act fast because the watercraft’s breathing air supply likely already ran out. The vessel had around 96 hours of oxygen onboard when the dive began, according to CBS. Authorities said that the vessel’s air supply was due to run out  June 22.

Nicki Minaj isn’t the only star to comment on the travesty.

Cardi B also shared her thoughts on the grieving process of Brian Szasz, who’s currently waiting to see if his stepfather Hamlin is alive.

The Bronx femcee lit into Szasz after he revealed that he went to a Blink-182 concert amid the frantic search for his stepdad and the other missing passengers.

“Ay, so one of the billionaires that’s missing underwater, on the submarine shit… One of the billionaires, they stepson is at a concert, right, a Blink-182 concert,” Cardi B said of the OceanGate ordeal in an Instagram video.

“People was like, ‘Uh what is he supposed to do, be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him himself?’ Yes. You supposed to be at the house sad,” she continued. “You supposed to be crying for me, you supposed to be right next to the phone waiting to hear any updates about me. … Isn’t it sad that you, a whole fucking billionaire, and nobody gives a fuck about you. Like, you missing, and motherfuckers is ready to shake dicks at concerts. That’s crazy. I’d rather be broke and poor, but knowing that I’m loved.”

Szasz caught wind of the rapper’s comment and fired back in a since-deleted tweet, “What a pos trashy celeb. Cardi B trying to get clout off me and my families [sic] suffering. I went to a Blink-182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news. Shame on you, Cardi, get some class!”

In a follow-up post, he added, “Cardi B, we know all of your latest releases are trash but is your career this desperate for attention now??”

Amid her book press tour last year for The Light We Carry: Overcoming In Uncertain Times, Michelle Obama was more candid about her marriage to Barack than ever before. 

In a November interview with NPR, the former First Lady explained that her and Barack’s relationship dynamic wasn’t equal, especially in the early years of their marriage.

Although Rihanna and Hillary are looking forward to moving forward, Black Twitter users felt that the mogul should have given the CEO post to anyone but a white woman.

The Bajan billionaire decided to relinquish her CEO title as Savage X Fenty expanded from an online retailer to a store with brick-and-mortar locations. The brand has seven retail shops with plans to open more locations.

Black Twitter users may have been on to something when opining about the change of power to a white woman. 

For perspective, the 2021 Fortune 500 list had 41-female led organizations. Of those 41 companies, only two had Black female CEOs– Rosalind Brewer of Walgreens Boots Alliance and Thasunda Brown Duckett of TIAA.

Thasunda was expressly clear about the challenges and the triumph of holding the coveted position. 

“It does not escape me that I am standing on the shoulders of giants, including the cooks and janitors and others who look like me and were first to enter corporate America,” she expressed to ABC News. “They created the space for me to have this opportunity. My hope is that corporate America realizes that talent is created equally, but opportunity is not, and we all acknowledge that there’s still more work to be done.”

Rihanna will remain with Savage X Fenty as the company’s executive chair. As chairwoman, the 35-year-old singer heads the board of directors. A CEO is the highest-ranking person in a company.

Meech reacted to Jess’ body odor-related insult when he posted screenshots of the two times the comedian slid in his DMs — both of which he ignored. The first time was back in December 2021 when the Baltimore native said she was “so proud” of the BMF star in an encouraging message. 

In the second DM, sent in February of this year, Jess asked if the actor was still in her hometown. 

“How I stink, but this unstable creature @jesshilarious_official in my DMs trying to get chose? I see why u mad now😂😭. This is a crazy world we live in🤦‍♂️,” Meech wrote underneath his receipts.

Summer, the actor’s girlfriend of several months, slammed Jess in the comments. The “No Love” singer chimed in on the unanswered messages and said, “That’s so sad. Thirsty ass girl must have caught amnesia… worried about my DMs & forgot about these.”

The drama started after Jess, a guest host on The Breakfast Club, gave her shady two cents on the cheating allegations that swirled around Meech.

On an episode of the morning show that aired June 20, Jess said the BMF actor should continue cheating on Walker because that’s how fans will get “the best music” from the Clear 2: Soft Life EP singer.

“I just hope she ain’t give Meech no baby,” Jess said. “That’s what happens when you mess with a deli smelly nigga, though. That’s what happens, you know — when they smell — somethings get a little fishy.”

Summer took her clap back energy to her Instagram Stories, according to screenshots shared by @its_onsite.

The mother of three said she was tired of her name in headline news when she’s stayed in her lane about her bag and focused on her man. The singer said the “obsession” with her and Meech’s relationship was out of pocket, especially since internet detectives “outed” their romance.

The horrific shooting occurred on June 15 in a school zone near the 300 Block of 37th Street, Southeast. According to a press release Gill, 22 and a male companion identified as Travis Foster, were driving in a light blue Nissan Altima when several shooters opened fire on the vehicle.

Crime scene photos obtained by People show that over a dozen bull holes struck the vehicle, breaking through the windshield and the driver’s side window. Gill was rushed to the hospital and underwent an emergency C-section. The stunning, pregnant model succumbed to her injuries. The D.C. Metropolitan Police said that her baby girl Zailey was in critical condition.

Foster, who authorities believe to be the father of the newborn, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are now asking the public to keep an eye out for the assailants, that were caught on street camera surveillance fleeing from the Altima in a white car. Two of the shooters were filmed as they began to open fire on the Altima containing Samya and Foster. Investigators believe that a third assailant, who was inside the white car, helped the shooters to quickly flee the scene.

According to police, one suspect wore a white hoodie, and the other donned a gray ski mask and gloves as they carried out the vicious attack. A Glock .45 was also discovered at the scene of the crime. Authorities strongly believe that the harrowing attack was planned.

Samya Gill’s mother gave an update on baby Zailey.

During an interview on Fox News, Celia Gill, the victim’s mother, revealed that her newborn granddaughter Zailey was “coming along ” and healing from her injuries.

“It was hard seeing her just hooked up to all those machines,” Celia recalled of seeing her baby granddaughter in the hospital during a June 20 appearance on Fox & Friends. “She is so strong.”

Posting to Facebook on June 20, the grieving mother wrote, “This was so hard for me, but I tried my best to push through for myself and my family… Samya would have wanted me to stay strong. She always hated when I cried.”

“Baby Zailey is doing a little better. The Dr’s has taken the ventilator down a little, which means she’s breathing a little better on her own. Her vitals have [been] steady, and they have removed some tubes that assisted her with feeding and other things. She still has more important testing, and we’re praying and hopeful our strong baby will pass with flying colors!“

When asked if she knew the suspects responsible for  Samya’s death, the grieving mother said she was still processing the unthinkable travesty and searching for answers. “Samya was loved by everybody. She was just a bubbly person. I can’t imagine who wants to do that to her,” the upset matriarch added.

The entrepreneur and finance guru advised his Black brothers to stay away from male friends that are “comfortable with infidelity.” Vetose didn’t offer more details about his unpopular opinion, but fans and followers wasted no time sounding off about the tweet in the comments section.

Social media users shared mixed reactions to the tweet.

Some people showed support for Vetose’s hot take. A Twitter user named fitness influencer Montel Hardin argued that the piece of advice was especially imperative for Black men who are married. The health coach penned that it was important for Black married men to find friends that will hold them accountable and help to nourish their “high standards.”

A few opinionated Twitter users didn’t agree with Vetose’s message.

A naysayer named @ThaKidSantana tweeted that he wasn’t going to cut his “manz” off for cheating on his partner.

“That ain’t my business,” he added. Piggybacking off of Santana, James Lee argued that just because a friend cheats doesn’t mean that you will mirror the same behavior because apparently a man’s character isn’t tied to being a liar when women are involved.

Like most of these social media debates, netizens never came to a conclusion on the heated infidelity discussion. People may never see the common ground when it comes to the topic. It’s a layered and complex issue that’s typically personal and nuanced to the individual committing the offense. A study in a 2022 survey conducted by VeryWellMind found that people typically cheated due to anger, low self-esteem, lack of love and a need for variety, among other reasons.

The issue becomes even more complex when talking about infidelity in the Black community.

A 2018 survey conducted by General Social Survey(GSS) claimed that cheating was “more common among Black adults.” Twenty-two percent of ever-married Black respondents said that they had cheated on their spouse, compared to 16 percent of whites and 13 percent of Hispanics.

Black men had the highest rate of infidelity. According to the study, 28% reported that they had sex with someone other than their spouse, compared with 20% of white men and 16% of Hispanic men. The survey suggested that “political identity, family background, and religious activity” and a few other factors could influence a person to cheat.

Now, these statistics could very well be a bunch of garbage as it’s hard to track and survey all of the conditions that prime someone to cheat. It’s also important to note that there are so many incredible Black faithful men that are leaders and astounding fathers in the community today.

But one thing is for sure, Black love has been tested throughout history. And it could speak to the divisive relationship views that are currently being discussed among young Black men and women.

Thousands of families were separated and torn apart during slavery, a nasty legacy that continues to haunt millions of African Americans today. Institutional factors have also been a threat to Black love. During the War On Drugs, the government unleashed tight penalties for drug-related offenses that annihilated Black families.

According to the Associated Press, Black and brown folks’ incarceration skyrocketed in the late ‘60s and ‘70s during the dreadful time period. The Black incarceration rate in America “exploded from about 600 per 100,000 people in 1970 to 1,808 in 2000,” temporarily removing Black men from their families and leaving many women to hold the household together.

On June 20, Majors walked into a Manhattan courtroom holding hands with his rumored new girlfriend, actress Meagan Good, before taking to the stand with Chaudhry to maintain his innocence.

During an intense testimony, the actor remained silent as his lawyer unleashed a treasure trove of footage, bank statements, surveillance videos and witness testimonies that appeared to dispel the assault allegations brought forth by his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

“Ms. Jabbari claims that Mr. Majors assaulted her in a car in Chinatown around 12:00 a.m. on March 25, 2023, and during this incident, Mr. Majors broke her finger and lacerated her ear,” Chaudhry wrote in a letter to Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Rachel S. Pauley on April 18.

“We have proof that this is a complete lie,” the legal aid told the courtroom on Tuesday, according to Insider. 

Inside the vehicle

Initially, Jabbari told authorities that Majors was assaulted while in a taxi as they were returning from a bar in Brooklyn.

But the driver, whose name remains anonymous, said that the California native never raised his voice or lifted a finger at Jabbari. In Chaudhry’s April letter to court officials, the lawyer revealed that Jabbari told officers she had started a fight with Majors “because she saw a text from another girl” and wanted to see his phone.

The London-based movement coach, who helped train the Hollywood star while filming this year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, grabbed at his phone out of jealousy and began to hit the actor. The driver pulled the car over, hoping to diffuse the situation, but Jabbari’s reportedly rage escalated.

Video footage of the argument obtained by Insider showed Majors attempting to flee from his then-girlfriend when the vehicle stopped. According to Chaudhry, Jabbari pulled the celeb so hard that his coat ripped in two as he was struggling to break free.

“And he’s, you know, a big guy, and she’s pulling him so hard that she pulls his body into the car,” the lawyer added.

Even in the midst of Jabbari’s chaotic behavior, the footage showed Majors keeping his cool when a group of fans came up to take selfies with him.

The video also captured Jabbari pulling her hair back into a bun and fiddling with her tresses with her right hand,  the same hand that she claimed the actor injured during their spat in the vehicle.

“She ties her hair into a knot. If your finger was broken, and you went to tie your hair in a knot, it would hurt,” the attorney argued.

Black Twitter users wondered if the woman that caused Jabbari to get angry was Meagan Good.

The celebs were first spotted dining together at the Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles on May 6, nearly two months after the assault incident was reported.  Two weeks later, the lovely pair were photographed holding hands while boarding a flight in New York City. Neither Good nor Majors have confirmed their relationship, but a source previously said that their budding romance was “fairly new.”

A few Twitter users weren’t too happy to see Good debuting her new relationship with the actor amid his turbulent domestic violence case. Naysayers called the actress “crazy” and “delusional” for supporting the star at his court appearance Tuesday.

The details for Jabbari don’t look good, as she reportedly partied the night away at Loosies after her dispute with Majors.

After their dispute in Chinatown, Majors went to a hotel on the Upper East Side, and Jabbari traveled to a nightclub called Loosies to continue partying.

Several witnesses and surveillance footage showed Jabbari fist-pumping, dancing, drinking, and charging multiple rounds of expensive drinks to Majors’ credit card.

In the two-hour-long footage, Jabbari showed no signs of injury to her right hand, Chaudhry said. More details about her wild nightlife escapade at Loosies will be revealed when a bartender that interacted with her takes the stand in August.

Chaudhry told Insider that the bartender saw Jabbari “having a great time” during her night out at Loosies. Notably, the bar staffer recalled seeing no bruises or blood on the coach’s ear and finger.

“Her finger is not broken, and her ear is not lacerated” after the street corner dispute, the defense lawyer added.

Chaudhry believes police jumped to conclusions without properly investigating the matter.

In her letter to officials, Chaudhry maintained that Jabbari injured herself nearly seven hours after her fight with Majors.

After she read a breakup text from the star, Jabbari left the nightclub and stumbled back to Major’s penthouse apartment drunk. According to Chaudhry, she sent the actor “angry jealous text messages,” accusing him of cheating and begging for the celeb to return her calls and texts.

She also sent a suicide message that startled Majors when he finally looked at his phone the next morning. Surveillance footage showed that the actor rushed into his penthouse around 11:13 a.m.  Upstairs, a bedroom door was locked. When he couldn’t manage to open it, the California native called a handyman to help pry the door open.

Inside, the Creed III star and the handyman found Jabbari passed out on the floor of a walk-in closet, Chaudhry said.

“Her right ear was bloody, and the knuckles of her right middle finger were swollen and bright purple. There was vomit on the bed and a bottle of sleeping pills nearby,” the defense lawyer said. Majors quickly called 911 to tend to Jabbari’s injuries. Chaudhry believes that Jabbari fell into the closet after her long night of drinking and consuming sleeping pills.

“I have a witness who was on the phone with Mr. Majors when he found her unconscious body, gasped, and called 911,” Chaudhry confirmed to Insider.

Racism may have played a factor in Majors’ arrest, Chaudhry says.

When authorities and first responders arrived, police body camera footage captured a bewildered and disoriented Jabbari asking authorities, “What happened to my finger?”

According to Majors’ attorney, the movement coach was looking down at her finger as if discovering the injury for the first time.

When NYPD officials asked how she sustained her bloody ear and cut finger, Jabbari told the officials, “I don’t know” almost 19 times, according to the footage.

Struggling to recall her memory, Jabbari said she had drank so much that she threw up when she returned to Majors’ penthouse. She admitted to taking several sleeping “tablets” during her drunken stupor.

But as she continued to share details about the dispute, authorities kept asking if Majors hit or punched her. At one point during the interrogation, one of the six white responding officers grabbed his throat and mimicked a choking movement as if forcing Jabbari to admit that Majors strangled her. In the video, she showed no signs of visible injury to her neck, Chaudhry noted.

Black Twitter users sounded off about the major tidbit online. Some users were shocked that NYPD officials would abet Jabbari to make false allegations about her injuries. Users were also pissed that even when the actor called to help save Jabbari’s life, he was arrested and blamed for her injuries.

A few angry netizens called the movement instructor a Karen and claimed that in due time, the new evidence would prove she was lying about her assault at the hands of the Hollywood star.

So according to the actual evidence, Jonathan Majors ex girlfriend tried to unalive herself after he broke up with her and when he found her unconscious in his crib after seeing her su*c*de texts he called for help to save her life but they arrested that man anyway.

There’s a sad history of Black men being falsely accused of assault by white women.

If the assumption is true, Jonathan Majors wouldn’t be the first Black man to be falsely accused of assault allegations. There’s a whole history of white women using the power of their perceived innocence to lock brothers up for decades. Unfortunately, the justice system plays a large role in coddling their tears of white fragility.

The Exonerated Five—formerly known as the Central Park Five, were charged and wrongfully convicted for the assault and rape of Trisha Meili, a white woman who was attacked while jogging in Central Park on the night of April 19, 1989. Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Raymond Santana, Korey Wise and Yusef Salaam were coached, threatened and coerced into making guilty confessionals. All five victims served nearly 13 years in prison for a crime they did not commit. In 2002, all five of the men received justice when serial rapist and murderer Matias Reyes admitted to attacking Meili. DNA tests also confirmed that he committed the horrific assault.

We know of the egregious beating and torture of Emmett Till, an unthinkable attack that occurred after a white woman named Carolyn Bryant accused the innocent 14-year-old Chicago native of grabbing her. But the story of the Groveland Four is another miscarriage of injustice that often goes untold.

The police shooting and imprisonment of the Groveland Four still haunt community members living in the central Florida town. In 1949,  Ernest Thomas, Samuel Shepherd, Charles Greenlee and Walter Irvin were accused of raping a woman in Groveland. The men were between 16 and 26 when they were slammed with a hefty sentence for the assault.

Evidence later revealed that an officer named Willis McCall falsely pinned the rape on all four Black men to take the heat off of his involvement in an illegal gambling operation. Bill Gladson, a Florida state attorney that pushed for officials to posthumously exonerate all four victims in 2021, told NPR it was possible Shepherd was also involved in the illegal gambling scheme, and that Officer McCall may have used the rape as a way to keep Shepherd from revealing his involvement in the crime-riddled scheme.

Additionally, Gladson discovered that James Yates, a deputy who served as a primary witness, fabricated evidence to place the blame on all four men.

In 1951, McCall fatally shot Shepherd and wounded Irvin while driving them to a second trial after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned their original convictions, arguing that no evidence had been presented to substantiate the allegations. But the sheriff alleged that the duo tried to escape from the vehicle when he opened fire.

Irwin was eventually sentenced to life in prison and died in 1969, one year after he was paroled. “Greenlee, also sentenced to life, was paroled in 1962 and died in 2012,” NPR noted.  Thomas never had a chance to defend himself. The Florida native was fatally shot by an angry mob shortly after the rape accusation made headlines.

In November of 2021, administrative Judge Heidi Davis posthumously exonerated all four men, a move that Thomas’ nephew Aaron Newsom said he never thought he’d see in his lifetime.

“We are blessed. I hope that this is a start because a lot of people didn’t get this opportunity. A lot of families didn’t get this opportunity. Maybe they will,” Newsom tearfully added. “This country needs to come together.”

“I didn’t like the way you snatched the mic out of my hand, so today is going to be all about me,” the college grad said, right before she slammed the mic down on the ground. The person seemingly recording the video, who was also a supporter, could be heard in the background yelling “Congratulations!” 

In a follow-up video, Iman spoke more in-depth about the moments leading up to her mic-snatching debacle. 

Iman said that every student had to announce their names before receiving their diploma. The TikTok star told fans that due to her long government name, it took her a little more time to make her graduation introduction. According to Iman, the rude ass faculty member seen in the video abruptly cut her off before she could finish saying her full name. 

“I didn’t even finish saying my name. And then the people that went before me and everything, they all got to say their name, their majors and even extras,” she explained to followers on TikTok.

Iman continued, “Me and another girl noticed that she was putting the mic down super fast for some Black people. I don’t want to be that person. But that was the tea. I just couldn’t let that happen because I just feel like I worked so hard to graduate and went through so much shit to graduate, that I just felt like I had to reclaim my moment.”

Well, the moment was certainly reclaimed, Iman! 

Fans and supporters also applauded the recent grad for standing her ground.

“Girl no need to apologize, graduating is such an important milestone. Take your moment!” wrote one TikTok user in the comments section. 

Another person penned to the artist, “The fact that she stood there and tried to keep you from getting the mic proved she was trying to keep you down.. I am so glad you got your moment.”

A third user gushed, “Worked too damn hard for all that! I support you. I’m also a graduate!! Proud of u, college is hard.”

Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, posted clips and snapshots of the chilled out day his family shared together in bed. One of the photos captured the 34-year-old rapper sound asleep with RZA, 13 months. Another showed Rihanna cuddled up with the couple’s firstborn as she peered at the camera.

Like many of the musicians’s respective photo dumps in the last six months, Rocky’s Father’s Day post included the cutest snapshot of RZA’s joyful smile. One of the videos in the post was of the 13-month-old laying toward the end of the bed and attentively watching a children’s show about shapes.

In another video, Rocky encouraged Rihanna to show off her baby bump for the camera. He playfully said, “Lemme see, girl, poke it out,” as the mother-to-be lightheartedly giggled by his side. 

While Rocky has nothing close to a dad bod, the rapper patted his stomach and jokingly compared it to Rihanna’s burgeoning belly. He said, “We matching too.” She then laughed and responded, “Shut up! You wish!”

There was only one outlier within posts of the family’s fun day in bed. It was a snapshot that showed Rocky as he held RZA and planted a kiss on Rihanna’s baby bump. The Fenty mogul sported the biggest smile. The photo captured the latter as she reached her arm over to lay her hand gently on Rocky’s back.

Rocky gushed about fatherhood in an Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe in January. 

The “DMB” rapper said being in “the dad club” was an “unexplainable” feeling. He emphasized that he couldn’t wait to spend time with his family at the end of every day. 

“But it honestly helps you get home to your family and get home to your baby,” he said on fatherhood. “And I can’t even explain it, man. You come home to heaven every day. I’m so thankful. God is good, man.”

Rihanna revealed her pregnancy with the couple’s second child during her Super Bowl Halftime performance in February.

The drama started on June 21, after the “Up” rapper took to Twitter to comment on Brian Szasz, the stepson of British billionaire Hamish Harding, who attended a Blink-182 Concert amid the intense search for his stepfather and four others aboard a missing Titanic sub.

Tasha K, who currently owes the hip-hop star a whopping $4 million from a defamation lawsuit she lost in 2022, boldly swooped into the Grammy winner’s replies with an eyebrow-raising hot take.

“Wasn’t she posting guns right after Takeoff died? And on the internet, cutting up not long after his sudden takeoff?” the YouTube star and blogger wrote.” I’m just asking…Everyone grieves diff.”

That’s when Cardi B dragged The UNWINEWITHTASHAK host to hell and back. The mother of two called the gossip blogger “despicable” for mentioning Takeoff in her dusty comment.

“To bring up Takeoff to prove a fake ass point is disgusting. I lost weight, I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, me and my man STILL dealing wit that to this day,” Cardi B tweeted of how she and her husband grieved over the loss of the late Migos star.

“I’m a rapper, we targeted all the time so of course I have guns for protection,” she continued. “But since you wanna be funny for comments, ima make sure your kid don’t go to college. You think my lawyers don’t know you hiding money in Africa? Ima make sure I get every red cent of my 4 mill. DONT EVER PUT TAKEOFF NAME IN YA MOUTH.”

Tasha’s pettiness did not end there. 

The notorious vlogger continued to push Cardi’s buttons on Instagram.  In one post, Tasha called the “WAP” hitmaker an “angry stripper” and claimed that she was the reason Migos split up.

In a follow-up post, the unabashed YouTuber issued a phony apology to the rapper’s fans. She blamed her ongoing lawsuit with Cardi as the reason why the rapper hadn’t released her second album.

“She’s been in court with me for 6 years, distracted from her purpose. Now going on 7. Atlantic is broke and won’t help pay for a 2nd album,” the gossiper alleged.

Tasha K’s petty post comes just one month after she reportedly filled out paperwork to file for bankruptcy amid her turbulent suit with Cardi B. She still owes the “WAP” rapper a whopping $4 million from the defamation lawsuit she lost in March. If granted, the bankruptcy request won’t wipe out her debt owed to the Bronx-bred femcee.

Instead, Tasha would be able to keep her assets and gossip blog business intact while she pays the hip-hop star under a court-approved payment plan. That’s only if Cardi’s legal reps agree to the repayment proposal.

Well, this latest stunt sure doesn’t look good for Tasha, especially if she’s trying to work things out with the rapper.

The Western-inspired set for Harvey’s Summer Denim campaign was on a beautiful Los Angeles-based ranch with equally gorgeous steeds. 

Celebrity fashion stylist and Emmy Award-winning costume designer Zerina Akers pulled together Harvey’s looks. The skincare founder’s soft beat was slayed by makeup artist to the stars, Sean Harris. 

Equally talented hairstylist Ray Christopher rounded out Harvey’s top-tier glam with short wavy tresses.

Harvey’s latest modeling gig channels her equestrian roots. 

The skincare brand founder started competitive horseback riding at 14. In a 2021 rare interview, the “It” girl recalled the intense liberation she always felt while she rode. 

“My love for the sport just took over. I’m in love with horses,” she told Bustle. “That literally took up all of my time. I would be there from the time the barn opened until they closed.”

“It’s very freeing. My mind constantly is going at a million things 24/7; it’s hard for me to shut my brain down. When I’m on a horse, literally that is all I’m thinking about: me in that moment and me and that horse…”

Despite her dreams of competing at the Olympic level, Harvey’s horseback riding aspirations were thwarted at 18.

“I got into a really bad accident,” she said on the Behind The Doors podcast in 2020. “I tore my MCL and I broke my lower back, and that was kind of the end of my riding career.”

The group discusses waxing versus shaving, body hair preferences, and addressing a partner who isn’t maintaining what’s going on “down there.” Do the ladies prefer easy breezy and clean shaven, or is it giving The Lion King? “You know what? I find that men don’t be caring sometimes,” Woo playfully observes.

The group also delves into relationship boundaries. They discuss how to establish healthy boundaries with a partner—like is it okay to take a break and ask for some time to yourself? Faust has had to recognize when she is giving too much of herself to a partner. “I neglected myself in every relationship I’ve ever had,” Faust says. “I always put myself on the backburner. I always put them first. I’m not doing that anymore.” The ladies agree: reciprocity is key.

On the other hand, Woo has “really, really strong boundaries.” They go on to discuss selfishness versus self-care. How do they differ and where do they overlap?

On June 21, The Breakfast Club Instagram account teased Joseline’s forthcoming appearance with an eyebrow-raising video that had some users pissed off.

In the short clip, the former Love & Hip-Hop cast member stepped into the studio and started smacking all of the radio hosts and crew, similar to how she laid the smackdown on all of the bystanders that were trying to prevent her from tearing Big Lex to sheds during their scuffle at the Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III fight on June 11.

The Puerto Rican Princess donned a long pinned striped work shirt that exposed her belly and showed off her bodacious curves in the odd teaser.

In the comments section, some Instagram users weren’t feeling the cringey video.

Naysayers claimed that it was weird and cruel for Joseline and The Breakfast Club to poke at her altercation with the rapper after the way she brutally assaulted Lex.

“This is not a good look. She assaulted a person, slapped security, and her husband was verbally abusive to a woman,” wrote one baffled user. “This is really what ya’ll doing?”

Another person objected, “The show has really gon to hell. This lady assaulted someone and can come on the show to make fun of it, but ya’ll had think pieces with Will Smith and Chris Rock.”

A third upset fan commented, “Why even encourage this broad and her behavior? Shame.”

As MADAMENOIRE previously reported, Joseline was arrested and charged with trespassing and battery after she was filmed viciously punching and kicking Big Lex until the rapper’s clothing came flying off.

TMZ obtained audio from a 911 call that Lex made right after the fight, and it sounds like she’s suiting up to press charges against the “Live Your Best Life” hitmaker.

Nearing the end of her first pregnancy, Brat revealed she was 35 weeks pregnant elsewhere in the post.

According to The Colorado Sun, officers James Snapp and Roch Gruszeczka did not know that 14-year-old Jor’Dell had robbed a convenience store with a group of associates just before they chased him to his death.

New bodycam footage captured Richardson and a group of five Black juveniles wearing hoodies and medical masks near a strip mall in west-central Aurora.

According to officials, shortly after, the late 14-year-old and his associates entered a convenience store near the intersection of Dayton Street and East Eighth Avenue and stole multiple vape canisters. Richardson allegedly flashed his pellet gun at the store clerk during the robbery, police said.

Audio from a police radio call revealed that James and Gruszeczka were staked out in front of the convenience store watching the boys to see if they were “scoping out” businesses to target.

“If we can set up some cars in the area. We’ve got some unmarkeds keeping an eye on it,” Snapp said in the newly released audio.

Officials say when the group began to walk out of the store, Snapp had a suspicious feeling that the troupe had robbed the establishment.

“They just shoplifted out of there,” Snapp speculated as he and Gruszeczka approached the strip mall to investigate. Both officers weren’t aware that Richardson had a pellet gun when they began to chase him and his associates.

Aurora police sergeant Faith Goodrich defended the officers.

Community members are outraged that the officers automatically assumed Richardson and his counterparts were up to no good without investigating the matter thoroughly, but Aurora police Sgt. Faith Goodrich maintains that the duo was well within protocol when they chased and shot the Colorado teen.

“While they may not have had the information about the robbery at the time of the chase, they certainly had reasonable suspicion that a crime had been committed,” Faith Goodrich told The Colorado Sun in a statement. “An officer does not need probable cause to stop or detain someone.”

On June 1, officers Snapp and Gruszeczka chased Richardson down an alley, shouting at him to surrender. Eventually, Snapp tackled the 14-year-old. According to NewsOne, bodycam footage captured Richardson begging with the officers for mercy just before Gruszeczka yelled at him to let go of his gun. Gruszeczka fired one round into the 14-year-old’s stomach, killing him instantly.

Aurora Police Chief Art Acevedo claimed that Richardson “pointed” the pellet gun at the officers despite video evidence dispelling the allegation.

The Denver Post reported that Richardson’s family and prominent community leaders will gather at the Aurora Municipal Center on June 16 to commemorate and celebrate the young teen’s life. The group will then conduct a March around the city with his casket to send a strong message about his unjust killing.

“Our family is in mourning, we are in pain, but our entire community is also in pain,” Jameco Richardson, the late teen’s father, said in a news release. “We are gathering together to honor and celebrate his life and grieve a death that came far too early.”

Apple Watts has resiliently worked toward recovery after the traumatic and nearly fatal car crash she survived in March 2022. 

The former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star posted a video update regarding her mobility June 17. The singer slowly but surely walked herself from the passenger seat of a car toward a wheelchair several feet away. Although Watts held onto the car door for support at times, she also stood on her own for a few moments before the video cut out. 

She aptly set the video to by Nipsey Hussle’s song “Dedication” featuring Kendrick Lamar. In her caption, Watts said, “Today was busy.”

The former Love & Hip Hop [L&HH] star updates her followers frequently about her mental, emotional, physical and financial well-being. 

In a post shared June 16, the reality TV alum said she missed the most mundane things since her car accident limited how and when she navigates the world. 

“I go out one probably like four times in one year,” she revealed. “Ppl go to work n get tired of that. Just the purpose of getting outside, little stuff don’t take for granted… u will miss everything that may irritate u when u can’t do it anymore…”

“I just lay in the bed all day, talk to no1, really. Just me going on 2nd year. I’m not missing shit but just being out…” she added.

In posts shared earlier this month, Watts passionately vented about all the family, friends and celebrities who abandoned her after her car crash. The former VH1 reality star accused her sister of stealing all the money fans raised for her recovery. Watts said that while she may no longer offer anything to the entertainment industry, she looks forward to working with non-celebrities once she’d healed. As she sees it, there’s less fake love outside Hollywood’s disingenuous scope.

“I’m no use to anyone no more — [L&HH], Mona Scott, etc… But when I do get better, I’m getting a regular job at McDonald’s cuz [there’s] too many fake ass stars [who] act like ur friend smile n ur face,” she posted June 7. “I’m not mad — [just] hurt a little [at] all this happening. Everyone turned they back on me, but God showing the truth.”

Relearning how to walk isn’t the only long-term struggle Watts was left with after her horrific car crash and the latter’s injuries.

The accident happened as she traveled from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on I-15. While in a black Mercedes, the former exotic dancer brutally collided with a Ford F250 pickup truck. Previous reports stated that Watts’ vehicle burst into flames and flipped several times. Also that her body was ejected from a window. 

She initially received medical attention at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Watts was in a coma for some time. Her injuries included a broken spine, a partially broken neck, a shattered arm and a fractured skull. The reality TV star had to relearn how to eat and breathe independently without the support of oxygen via a tracheostomy tube.

On June 11, conservative family advocate Christy Kelly took to the Bluebird app and opened up about her family meeting their daughter’s boyfriend and his mother for the first time. Kelly expressed extreme gratitude for her husband’s firm approach to the male teen. She said that the man of her household set solid boundaries for the male teen regarding his daughter’s “chastity.”

The husband also told their daughter’s new boyfriend that he has “four guns” and required the utmost respect from the male teen. “Thank God I married an old soul,” Kelly tweeted. “We may look like fun, ‘cool’ parents, but we are pretty traditional.”

“The new-age parenting is strange and frankly needs to stop,” the protective mother added.

The tweet has been seen by over 13.1 million people and spawned thousands of strongly opinionated replies about the couple’s approach to their daughter’s new boyfriend. 

Those that disagreed with the heads of the Kelly household argued that the husband’s gun intimidation toward their daughter’s new boyfriend was completely inappropriate — especially as a Black man toward a male Black youth. Others emphasized that the hyper fixation with their daughter’s chastity was an outdated pillar of patriarchy that robbed their daughter of the autonomy to her own body and sexual decisions. 

Some expressed that the Kelly couple seemingly lacked trust in their daughter’s practice of the values they’ve instilled. Several also said that the parents’ fear tactics might deter their children from being honest with them.

Here’s the issue I have with this out dated approach as a black father of a young king engage in that conversation with the young man without bringing up guns cuz I would perceive that as a threat to my child’s life an I would have to “put the paws on your husband” 🤷🏽‍♂️

Those who agreed with Kelly’s traditional parenting style emphasized that the goal was to do everything possible to keep the daughter protected emotionally, mentally, physically and sexually in the long term.

Twitter users gave the mama bear and gun-toting father props for their protectiveness toward their child. Others highlighted how the more hands-on approach toward teenagers who date had been successful in their own personal experiences.

According to Do.Something.org, 1 in 3 young people will be in an abusive or unhealthy relationship. More disturbingly, 50% of those youths who experience rape or physical or sexual abuse will attempt to commit suicide.

In response to the backlash, Kelly emphasized why she and her husband so passionately want to ensure their daughter’s well-being while they allow the child to date. The conservative advocate revealed that the male teen’s mother responded well to her husband’s firmness with the male child.

“This is what a strong black man looks like,” said Kelly. “My daughter likely won’t be with this kid forever. But my husband will leave the imprint of male leadership on his life because this is what we do. His mother thanked us for the strong reception. She’s raised a respectful son. But there are some things only a man can teach a young male.”

 In an article published in 2022 titled How Black Communities Are Addressing Teen Dating Violence, licensed psychologist Erlanger Turner, Ph.D., shed light on the importance of boundary conversations with teens as they date.

“It’s important for parents to recognize that children learn messages from their environment about expectations—especially when it comes to relationships,” the founder of Therapy for Black Kids told Parents.com.

He continued: “The earlier you can begin these conversations with youth helps remove the taboo around things like verbal and physical abuse that they may have witnessed or that they may encounter in their own relationships as teens or adults.”
